What equipment is required:

Water: Staying hydrated is crucial, especially during off-road adventures. Pack enough water to last you throughout the day.

Spare Tire: Off-road terrain can be unpredictable. Having a spare tire is essential in case of punctures or other tire-related issues.

Spare CVT Belt: A spare Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) belt is essential for UTVs. It's a critical component, and having a spare can save you from being stranded.

Tools: Carry a basic toolkit with tools like wrenches, pliers, screwdrivers, and other essential tools for quick repairs on the trail.

Full Tank of Gas: Before each ride or day, ensure your UTV has a full tank of gas. Off-road trails can be remote, and having ample fuel is a must.

Highly Recommended:

Communication Radios: Communication radios are invaluable for staying connected with your group, especially in areas with limited cell reception. They enhance safety and coordination on the trails.

Cell Phone: While communication radios are essential, bringing your cell phone is still important for emergency situations. Ensure it's fully charged and protected from the elements.

These must-haves and recommendations will help ensure your UTV off-road adventures are safe, enjoyable, and well-prepared for any challenges that may arise during your journey.

Fees:

Event fees start at $3295. For more detailed information, please visit the registration information page.

About this event:

UTV Offroad Adventures – Rim Runner 700

The First-Ever 700-Mile Loop Through Eastern Arizona’s Cool Pines

The Rim Runner 700 is a brand-new adventure unlike anything UTV Offroad Adventures has ever offered. This five-day ride will take you on a 700-mile loop through the high country of Eastern Arizona, where pine forests, alpine lakes, and winding mountain trails replace the open desert. Modeled after the Arizona Peace Trail, but set in the cool pines along the Mogollon Rim, this event promises a completely different experience—one filled with fresh mountain air, breathtaking views, and rugged terrain few riders have ever seen.

From August 16 through 21, 2026, a group of only twenty side by sides will set out on this first-of-its-kind adventure. Each day brings new terrain to conquer and new sights to discover, and every evening ends in comfort with hotel accommodations waiting for you. To make the experience even better, your registration also includes four hotel nights, four dinners, and four breakfasts, so you can focus on the ride while we take care of the rest.

The Rim Runner 700 is more than just a ride—it’s a chance to be part of offroad history. This is the inaugural year, and those who join will be the very first to complete this loop. Limited availability makes it an exclusive, small-group experience where camaraderie builds quickly, stories are shared each night, and memories are made that last a lifetime.

Requirements to Ride

The Rim Runner 700 is a serious offroad challenge. To participate, every SXS must be in top mechanical condition and properly equipped for long-distance mountain riding. You’ll need:

  • A well-maintained machine ready to endure 700 miles of rugged terrain.
  • Spare tires, essential parts, and the tools to handle trailside repairs.
  • Extra fuel capacity to make it between remote stretches.
  • The stamina and determination to cover long miles each day.

This is not a casual weekend ride—it’s a true test of endurance for both machine and driver.

Eastern Arizona offers a side of the state most never get to see. While the desert trails of the west are famous, the eastern mountains offer crisp mornings, tall pines, alpine meadows, and the kind of cool-weather riding that makes every mile a pleasure. This is Arizona at its most surprising and most beautiful, and the Rim Runner 700 will take you straight through its heart.

Registration is now open for this one-time opportunity. Once the twenty available spots are filled, the ride will be closed. Don’t miss your chance to be part of the very first Rim Runner 700—an unforgettable five days of riding, four nights of comfort, hearty meals included, and one incredible adventure.

Ride the Rim. Run the 700. Experience Arizona like never before.
